The Northern Spotted Owl and the Red Tree Vole find themselves in a forest changed, where machines of steel and fire change the very landscape before their eyes, and if that wasn’t all, invaders have started to move in and compete for the same, ever-diminishing resources.

This 11-page educational comic tells the story of how human-made habitat fragmentation, specifically in the form of industrial deforestation, urbanisation and wildfires is forcing these two native species to the American Pacific Northwest to adapt and fight for their survival. The future of the 'Northern Spotted Owl' and the 'Red Tree Vole' looks ever more precarious.
